Everclear brought their Sparkle and Fade 30th Anniversary Tour to the Aztec Theater in San Antonio, Tx. The band delivered an unforgettable night filled with energy and nostalgia. Fans of all ages gathered to experience the band’s signature blend of alternative rock and catchy melodies, making it a standout event in the city’s live music scene.


Everclear’s setlist was a well-curated mix of their classic hits and newer material. The band opened with “So Much For The Afterglow,” instantly igniting the crowd’s enthusiasm. This song still remains a fan favorite, and was a great kick-off to a epic night of music. The setlist was heavy with songs off the" So Much for the Afterglow" album, which contains several of the band's biggest hits. The set list was full of radio-friendly alt-rock classics like “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You a New Life,” and “Wonderful.”


Lead singer and guitarist Art Alexakis, commanded the stage with confidence and charisma. His voice remained strong and expressive, delivering each lyric with conviction. The rest of the band, Freddy Herrera- Bass, Brian Nolan - Drums, and Davey French - Guitar, matched Arts energy, creating a tight, cohesive sound.


The band encouraged crowd participation, inviting fans to sing along, clap, and curse during key moments. The crowd’s enthusiasm was a driving force throughout the show.

The concert closed with a high-energy encore that left the audience wanting more. The band returned to the stage to perform their biggest and most popular hit song, “Santa Monica,” a song that perfectly captured the spirit of the night.
